Obituary for
Paul Marchese
Paul Marchese passed away in the comfort of his home in Satellite Beach, Florida surrounded by family on November 19, 2023. Paul was born on October 31st, 1956 in Castellamare Del Golfo, Sicily to the late Giacomo and Francesca Marchese.
He was best known for being a generous, kind, and caring person. Making strong connections with everyone he met. Above all, Paul loved all of his family and lived for them. He will be remembered for his love of golf, lasting friendships, and fighting spirit. And despite his battle with cancer even in his final days you could still find him outdoors on a bicycle, swimming in his pool with grandchildren, and going on walks with his beloved rescue dog Cotton.
He was a devoted husband, father, brother, friend, and confidant. His passing will leave a void that cannot be restored. He was there when you needed him the most. He was actively present in his community, grateful for anyone who would pass the time with him, and spread a message of love and compassion everywhere he went. He will be eternally loved and missed by all who knew him.
His family members include his beloved wife Kerry, the mother of his children Maria Marchese, his children, Jack Marchese and his wife Dani Taylor of Massachusetts, Francine Marchese McCaffrey and her husband Sean McCaffrey of New York, and Rosemarie Fileccia and her husband Sebastian Fileccia, Jennifer Bennett of New York, Christine Bennett of New York, Brian Bennett of Florida his son-in-law Tommy Casatelli, Grandchildren Kieran and Sienna Marchese McCaffrey of New York, Sebastian, Jr and Giovanni Fileccia of New York, Abigail Casatelli and Tristan Casatelli of New York, and Meghan Bennett of North Carolina. He also leaves behind his siblings Jackie Zichi of New York, Rosa Digiuseppe and her husband Salvatore Digiuseppe of New York, and his many nieces and nephews who he loved so dearly.
Family and friends are invited to all proceedings. Arrangements are by the Scarpaci Funeral Home, 1401 86th Street, Brooklyn. His wake and viewing are on Thursday, November 30th 2023 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Mass will be at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 666 Albin Ave, West Babylon.
