Frank Hidalgo passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 52, after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was born on April 27, 1971, to Rita Palacios and Franklin Hidalgo. Frank is survived by his loving wife Luz, son Tristan Hidalgo, daughter Paloma Hidalgo. His siblings are Elizabeth, Karina, Daniela, Franklin Hidalgo and Chrisz Palacios.

Frank was of Ecuadorian descent, born and raised in the Upper West Side and Brooklyn, NY. At a very young age, Frank demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, work ethic, and an enormous love for family and friends. Frank attended Ascension Middle School and Xavier High School in Manhattan. He graduated with a BA in Business from Long Island University.

Frank was a family-man, role model and a friend who could always be depended on. In his early age, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and bravely took part in the Persian Gulf War. After returning home, he married his childhood sweetheart, Luz, and started a wonderful family. Frank and Luz grew up together and have been married for over 25 years. Frank was incredibly proud of his children. Tristan is currently a Mechanical Engineer major at NYU Tandon and Paloma is a Biomedical Engineer major at Rutgers University.

Frank worked most of his profession in the pharmaceutical industry. He is an award- winning sales representative who in 2023 won the highest achievement, Circle of Excellence. His pharmaceutical career was more than just a job – it was his second family. Frank created special bonds with so many he encountered and cherished all his friendships.

He will always be remembered for his honorable strength, huge personality, gentle demeaner, hilarious sense of humor, his ability to give the best financial and career advice, his words of wisdom, his devotion to his career, his amazing leadership and being the most loyal, trusting friend.

His big-heart and gorgeous eyes radiated so much light and admiration from all people. He was a unique beautiful man inside and out. All those who were in his presence were blessed and lucky to have witnessed what happiness, love, goodness, positivity, and insight he brought to the lives of his wife, children, family and friends.

Frank was a Devoted Father, Husband, Brother, Son, Friend, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, Co-worker, Role-Model, Godfather, Protector and many more, his virtues were endless. He emanated a calming, positive, vibrant, energy. He touched the lives of so many people and always went out of his way for others.

God had bigger plans for Frank and Heaven could not wait for such an extraordinary Angel. He left an indelible mark during his time on Earth. His spirit will always be present in our hearts and the memories will be our consolation. Frank was the thread that kept everyone together and will be dearly missed.
