Obituary for Barbara A. Iacucci

Barbara A. Iacucci
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Barbara A. Iacucci, on July 18, 2023. Barbara was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1968. She attended Bishop Kearney High School, and she completed her bachelor’s degree at St. Francis College. Thereafter, she obtained a Master of Education degree from The College of Staten Island. After graduation, she became an elementary school teacher at PS 101 in Brooklyn. She loved being a teacher, and she adored her students. After teaching for ten years, Barbara gave up her career to focus on her main love, being a mother. She was devoted to her two sons, and she loved them with all her heart and soul. When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she was taking care of her many dogs that brought her so much joy. Barbara had a passion for football and The New England Patriots. She enjoyed Sunday football and a spirited rivalry with Jets and Giants fans.
Although she left this world too early, Barbara leaves us with an abundance of memories and blessings. She will be in our hearts and memories forever.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mafalda Iacucci; her brother, Lou Iacucci (Tara); her nephew, Andrew Iacucci; and many other cherished family members and friends who Barbara loved deeply. She was predeceased by her loving father, Eugenio Iacucci. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Barbara’s life on Tuesday, July 25th from 6PM-10PM at Scarpaci Funeral Home, 1401 86th Street, Brooklyn.
