Condolence: We were Lea’s next door neighbors for the past three years. From the moment we met her sitting on her porch, we were so impressed with her energy and her friendliness. She had a beautiful fig tree in her backyard and we mentioned to her one day that we loved figs. Next thing we knew, she had picked a plateful of figs. She called us and said “I have a gift for you, I’ll meet you a the front door”. Sure enough, she gave us a plateful of figs and told us anytime we wanted more, we could lean over our deck and take as many as we want. We will forever miss her and her kind and happy ways. Our condolences to Lauren and her husband and children as well as Rick and Steve. We will bring a Mass card to St. Patrick’s tomorrow.
