Condolence From: Evelyn Vazquez

Condolence: I started working at Gregory & Paul's in 1984 and worked for Chief(Paul) for over 20 yrs. Chief was a father to me and many of his other employees. You could go to him for anything. He was well respected and loved. Oh po po and come get it get it were his favorites catch calls to all who passed by. So many wonderful memories were made here. Oh how I miss those days.

I would stop by and visit him from time to time and he always made sure we were fed and had dessert. Chiefy, my Chiefy. I look forward to seeing him in paradise soon.

Condolence: I started working at Gregory & Paul’s at 15, and continue to work for Chief for 20 years, sometimes full time, or just to come up and make the cotton candy, but almost always on holidays, because no one could say no to the Chief! Even after I moved to FL, whenever I came to NY I had to come up on the boardwalk to say hi to the Chief! What great memories working on the boardwalk. The Chief was kind, and generous, he always made you feel welcomed, and definitely wanted to feed you! He became part of my family, he will be missed. I know he’s happy, he’s with his beloved Alkimini. RIP
