Condolence: To Joe's Family My deepest condolences to you all. I had the pleasure of becoming friendly with Joe during my years here at Scholastic. I can say, without a doubt, that Joe was one of the bright spots in my day. We'd spend a lot of time standing outside 557, getting some sun and talking (complaining) about the Yankees and Giants. He never failed to make me laugh, and I looked forward to seeing him, as there was usually some corny joke he was itching to share with me.
