Condolence: My sincere condolences on Mrs. Candela's passing. Nothing equates to the feeling of losing a loved one, therefore words always fall short when they are used in an attempt to comfort. Something that has comforted me significantly is reading the promise found in Job 14:14,15 as well as 1 Corinthians 15:26. Next month will mark a year of having lost my stepmom, and I can say that with time, the wound of the loss begins to scar over, but it doesn't feel so recent. The scar still remains, and yes it feels tender, but holding on to those two lovely promises helps tremendously. Each loss is different, therefore I cannot fully put myself in your shoes, but I hope that you find at least some console in reading the scripture, and that you may reminisce on the wonderful memories shared with Angela in the meantime.
