Obituary for
Frances Faulhaber (Prisciantelli)
Frances Faulhaber, age 89, died peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2016. Fran was born on August 19, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, the youngest daughter of Eugene and Mary Prisciantelli who came over from Italy to give their children a life in America.
Fran was always very active and didn’t like to keep still. She spent much of her life volunteering wherever she could to help others. She was a dedicated donor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and kept a scrapbook of all the children she helped over her lifetime. Fran had an endearing personality and everyone that knew her had the pleasure of hearing at least one of her amusing stories. Those who knew her also know how much she enjoyed reading her favorite author Danielle Steele, listening to her idol Frank Sinatra and rooting for “her Mets.” She was also a fighter having won a battle against colon cancer. Fran was truly one of a kind.
In addition to raising her four sons, Fran worked in both retail and the banking industry. She continued to work even after retirement. She always kept busy and was her happiest when working, cooking, and caring for her late husband, her sons and grandchildren.
Fran was predeceased in death by her beloved husband Ralph “Stretch” Faulhaber, her sisters Anne Reilly and Tess Donadio, her brother Victor Prisciantelli, and her grandson Matthew Faulhaber.
Fran is survived by her sons Thom Faulhaber and Loretta, Steven Faulhaber and his wife Debbie, Michael Faulhaber and his wife Ann, and Robert Faulhaber and his wife Marie; her 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with 1 more on the way.
